Job summary

A manufacturing company in Kedah seeks a candidate to generate purchase orders and monitor supplier delivery performance. Responsibilities include liaising with various departments on quality and financial issues. Candidates should hold a diploma in a related field, with at least one year of experience preferred. Fresh graduates may be considered. The ideal candidate will work well under pressure and may have knowledge of HACCP, ISO, GMP, or Halal standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma Holder in related field.
• Minimum 1 year working experience preferred.
• Fresh graduates may also be considered.
• Experience in manufacturing industry will be an advantage.
• Able to work under minimum supervision and can work under pressure.
• Knowledge of HACCP, ISO, GMP and/or Halal will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Generate PO from PR for direct materials.
• Follow-up on delivery status to ensure timely delivery.
• Invoice matching and raise PRN for Finance Department.
• Monitor supplier performance and update approved supplier list.
• Liaise with sales tax department on exemption issues.
• Collaborate with Quality Department on quality issues.
• Coordinate with warehouse on materials receiving issues.
• Work with Materials Planner on order scheduling.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Main task is to generate PO from PR direct materials, follow-up delivery status to ensure timely delivery to support production run smoothly.
• Invoice Matching and raise PRN submit to Finance Department.
• Monitoring of Supplier Performance / Update Approved supplier list and all documentation.
• Liaise with the sales tax dept on sales tax exemption issue.
• Liaise with the Quality Department and supplier about the quality issue.
• Liaise with the warehouse for raw materials and packaging materials receiving issue.
• Dealing with the Materials Planner to reschedule/cancel order.
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

• Diploma Holder in related field.
• Preferable: Minimum 1 year working experience.
• Fresh graduates may also be considered.
• Experience in manufacturing industry will be added advantage.
• Able to work under minimum supervision and can work under pressure.
