A leading aviation organization in Selangor, Malaysia, is seeking an Operations Coordinator to oversee flight movements and initiate recovery plans for disruptions. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in a related field and have at least 2 years of experience in operations. Key skills include decision making, strong communication in English, and leadership abilities. Diligent monitoring of all flight movements and ground operations at KUL and stations and to initiate immediate recovery tactical plans for any flight disruptions by all recovery process including immediate information blast.
Constant engagement with respective departments on all operating matters responding to recovery timeline following disruptions by initiating revised service schedules, aircraft swaps, revised crew operating pattern and passengers’ connections.
Responsible for all aircraft tail allocations for all flights on D-2 basis, including aircraft swaps, assignments, simulation as instructed by Duty Manager and accountable for all flights movement data updates including delay reasons and codes are accurately updated in FMCS system.
Coordinate and implement adhoc charter, relief and positioning flight arrangements, commercial or emergency situation as and when flights need to be activated in D-2 basis.
Assists Head of Operations Planning in operational and administration duties including ORM, regular engagement with external parties, staff rostering matters, projects as and when required.
Degree in any related field preferably in Operations.
2 years’ experience in operations.
Wide knowledge in Operations departments in Airline/Airport/Station Management/Terminal Centre Operations is an advantage.
Good decision making with integrity, leadership skills, time management and stress management.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with effectively communicate in english, both writing and verbal.
