Job summary

A leading beauty company is seeking a candidate for brand management in Kuala Lumpur. You will manage day-to-day operations and develop strategic plans to drive revenue and growth. Ideal candidates possess strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with at least 5 years in FMCG or retail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and fluency in English and Bahasa are essential. This role involves collaboration across functions to achieve brand objectives and optimize performance.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years in a reputable FMCG company or in retail managing a brand.
  • Prior experience managing skincare/fragrance brand is an added advantage.
  • Bi-lingual in English & Bahasa.

Job description

The role is responsible for the management and day-to-day operations of PUIG business in Malaysia. Reporting into the Senior Brand Manager, driving a strategic plan to promote revenue, profitability, and growth for the PUIG business in Malaysia.

The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial & independent, possesses the ability to think strategically and analytically, and is personable.

  • Plan and execute brand & business objectives; KPI’s
  • Manage brand A&P and P&L to ensure brand investments & ROI are maximized.
  • Work closely with demand planning team on forecasting future launches and monthly business needs.
  • Plan and execute commercial business plans with Brand Manager.
  • Work with marketing team to develop integrated marketing plans from product launches and promotion mechanics to grow and build brands.
  • Develop e-commerce strategies to increase brand engagement and sales.
  • Develop, drive and execute brand merchandising guidelines & adhere across all different retail channel distribution.
  • Be ‘hands on’ and independently lead the brand by working closely with cross functional teams from sales, marketing, finance, and operations to achieve brand objectives.
  • Work closely with trade partners to ensure brands exposure and mechanics are consistently managed and well presented.
Requirements
  • Degree in marketing or related business with at least 5 years in a reputable FMCG company or in retail managing a brand.
  • Candidate with prior experience managing skincare/fragrance brand an added advantage.
  • Strategic mindset, analytical & insights driven to create opportunities.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills, bi-lingual (English & Bahasa).
  • Team player, self-confident with strong leadership qualities.
