Job summary

A project management firm in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced professional with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Engineering for a contract role focused on BIM modeling. Job description
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with project team members, including architects, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
  • Supervise workers to ensure that they are following all safety rules and regulations during construction
  • Coordinating with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all BIM elements are properly implemented on the job site
  • Create models of building designs using computer software to ensure that they meet industry standards and regulations
  • Review construction drawings to ensure that they have been properly prepared according to industry standards
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to plan and execute projects
  • Maintain databases of construction drawings and other documents such as permits, licenses, and certifications held by contractors and subcontractors
  • Prepare contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to construction projects
  • Work with architects to design buildings, facilities, and other structures
  • Construct BIM model and prepare architectural, structural or M&E shop drawings for submission to the authorities and for construction using BIM software & Telka.
  • Update BIM model according to latest information provided and ensure accuracy of shop drawings.
  • Monitor and inform Project Design Team on clashes.
  • Monitor and ensure drawing submission schedule is achieved.
  • Manage process of exchange and coordination of BIM model with consultants, client and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Engineering
  • Knowledge in MEP will be an advantage.
  • At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field.
  • BIM Modelling certification will be added advantage.
  • Proficient in BIM related software, e.g. Autodesk Revit/Navisworks/AutoCAD.
  • Have experience creating and maintaining BIM LOD 300 until LOD 500.
