Responsibilities
  • Handle full-set accounts for the company and assigned overseas subsidiaries.
  • Consolidate financial results from overseas entities and prepare group-level reports in accordance with MFRS/IFRS.
  • Perform month-end closing activities and ensure timely submission of reports.
  • Maintain proper accounting records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Coordinate with external auditors on annual financial audits.
  • Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents, and resolve audit queries promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and internal policies.
  • Support internal audits or compliance reviews when required.
  • Assist in preparation of corporate tax computation and tax estimates.
  • Handle SST/GST submissions, reconciliations, and compliance requirements.
  • Liaise with tax agents for tax filing matters.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
  • Perform variance analysis and highlight financial trends, risks, or opportunities.
  • Provide insights to management for decision-making.
  • Work closely with operations, procurement, HR, and management to support business activities.
  • Handle financial queries and provide accurate financial information to stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with auditors, tax agents, and banks.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is required.
  • Professional degree candidates (completed or part-qualified) are encouraged.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience.
