Position Title: Assistant Account Manager
Snapshot Of The Role
We are seeking an Assistant Account Manager to join our dynamic team at QL Agroventure Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This full‑time role is responsible for managing full spectrum of accounting functions in Finance department.
You Are Driven To
- Handle the full spectrum of accounting functions in the Finance department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and fixed assets
- Update and prepare timely periodic and ad‑hoc reports to management.
- Ensure all accounting and financial management practices are carried out in strict adherence to group accounting policy and approved accounting standards.
- Perform analysis of accounts and ensure the accuracy of entries.
- Liaise with auditors / tax agents / bankers.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory filings, GST, corporate tax, and other legislative requirements.
- To perform any other duties as may be designed from time to time.
- Assist in other ad‑hoc accounting and corporate finance projects and perform any other accounting‑related duties as applicable.
- Responsible to prepare monthly management accounts within the deadlines given.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
- Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, Professional Certificate, or other relevant accounting qualification.
- At least 3-4 years of working experience in handling full set of accounts, management accounting, Group accounts, and related financial analysis exposure.
- Required skill(s): Accounting Knowledge, Ms Office, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Preferably audit experience.
- Experienced with accounting software
