Responsibilities

• Check and record technical accounts (commission adjustments, profit commissions, premium adjustments) and monitor receipt.
• Monitor and manage reinsurance payables and receivables; liaise with brokers and insurers on collections.
• Assist in processing and reconciling claims; monitor reserves for timely settlements.
• Provide operational support for retrocession administration and control activities.
• Collaborate with Brokers/Cedants, Underwriting, Claims, Finance and Compliance.
• Participate in ad hoc projects to support MS Reinsurance’s objectives.

Are you ready to begin or advance your journey in the dynamic world of reinsurance? We’re looking for detail-oriented and proactive individuals to join our team.

Your Responsibilities

Technical Account Specialist: Check and record technical accounts (including but not limited to, commission adjustments, profit commissions, premium adjustments, etc.) and monitor receipt of technical accounts.

Credit Control: Monitor and manage reinsurance payables and receivables for assigned portfolio. Review and record collections and payments corresponding to the Reinsurance technical accounts. Maintaining active communication with reinsurance brokers and insurance companies to ensure timely collection of open balances.

Claim Operations: Assist in the processing and reconciliation of individual claims, including monitoring outstanding reserves to ensure accuracy and timely settlement in accordance with treaty terms.

Retrocession supports: Provide operational support for retrocession administration, accounting, credit control and control assurance activities to ensure accurate and timely transaction process.

Team Collaborator: Work closely with Brokers/Cedants, Underwriting, Claims, Finance, and Compliance ensuring seamless information exchange and cooperation.

Project Participant: Actively engage in various ad hoc projects, contributing to the achievement of MS Reinsurance's business objectives.

Your Profile

Educational Background: Diploma or degree in Financial, Accountancy, or a related field.

Communication Skills: Proficient in English, with strong writing and verbal communication abilities.

Technical Proficiency: Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
