Description

The Asset Management Executive/Engineer will be responsible for monitoring, analysing, and optimising the performance of Solarvest’s renewable energy assets, ensuring operational excellence, compliance with regulatory requirements, onboard assets to monitoring platform and support maximising returns on investment. This role covers both internal assets and client portfolios.

Performance Monitoring & Optimisation
  • Monitor daily performance of solar PV plants and other RE assets via the central monitoring platform.
  • Analyse energy yield, PR (Performance Ratio), and downtime to detect underperformance.
  • Identify root causes of performance issues and coordinate with O&M teams for corrective action.
  • Prepare monthly performance reports for internal stakeholders and clients.
Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure all assets comply with local regulations, grid codes, and PPA obligations.
  • Coordinate and submit compliance reports to authorities (e.g., SEDA, TNB, Energy Commission) within deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for audits and inspections.
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Coordination
  • Work with O&M teams to plan preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Support predictive maintenance initiatives using performance analytics and historical data.
  • Track maintenance completion and follow up on outstanding issues.
Stakeholder Management
  • Support Asset Management team with needed support i.e. preparing high-level reports to top management
  • Support customer service for external asset management clients.
  • Participate in review meetings with internal teams and contractors.
Data & System Management
  • Maintain accurate asset data in monitoring systems.
  • Support system integration and onboarding of new assets into the monitoring platform.
  • Assist in Asset Monitoring consolidation, onboarding of system upgrades, software customisation, and dashboard configuration.
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years’ experience in solar PV operations, asset management, or similar field (fresh graduates with internship experience in RE may be considered).
  • Familiar with PV system design, operation, and performance analysis.
  • Knowledge of SCADA/monitoring systems is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Able to travel to site occasionally.
