Job summary

A global energy company is seeking a Mechanical Technician to assemble and test mechanical assemblies. Candidates should have 3-4 years of experience, preferably with an SPM or equivalent qualification. You will ensure compliance with safety standards and document test results for various mechanical assemblies. This position is based in Iskandar Puteri, Malaysia, and requires proficiency in technical drawings and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• At least 3-4 years relevant working experience in a mechanical role.
• Clear understanding of general mathematics with ability to write and communicate in English.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Ability to use personal computer or workstation.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and tests mechanical assemblies of moderate complexity.
• Completes required test documentation including test reports and NCR.
• Conducts final factory inspection of oilfield equipment.
• Practices good housekeeping in the work area.
