🚀 About the Role:

New Era Technology is looking for experienced AS400 Developer LifeAsia to be deployed at our prestigious client in Malaysia at their KL office.

• Responsible in system implementation (design, coding, unit testing, troubleshooting, etc) activities for Life/Asia application including production support, projects and system enhancements.
• Required to be part of the batch support team, taking turns for dayend/monthend/adhoc production job support.
• Responsible for planning, prioritizing, implementation, managing delivery of assignments/projects assigned under his/her portfolio with all stakeholders.
• Ensure delivery complies to standard operating processes defined (ie. system development lifecycle, change management, security tollgates, etc.).
• Ensure business and functional requirements are translated to system solutions.
• Responsible for governance and execution around software development, including version control, code review and structure, architecture, security, quality and performance.

• Bachelor in IT, Computer Science or Engineering.
• Experience wise, we are looking with a 3-5 years of hands on technical implementation experience with LifeAsia system. If the candidate is selected, he/she will be reporting to one of our technical lead/manager.
• Required skills: AS/400, Life / Asia, SQL, DB2.
• Nationality: Open for all who are willing to work onsite in Malaysia.
• Availability: Candidates who can join max in 30 days.
