A leading lubricant supplier in Malaysia is seeking an Area Sales Lead (Executive / Senior Executive) to drive revenue growth in the automotive lubricants sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key accounts, developing new opportunities, and supporting the national sales team. Ideally, this role requires at least 4 years of sales experience and excellent communication skills. The position offers a chance to significantly influence client relationships and business growth, with travel across Malaysia as needed.
Specialty Lubricants Trading (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd – Puchong New Village
As the Area Sales Lead (Executive / Senior Executive), you will play a key role in the growth and expansion of Motul in Malaysia. In this role you will be responsible for meeting the revenue targets for the automotive lubricants business. You will be responsible for managing and developing these key accounts of new and existing clients and channels within your designated region. You will identify and manage opportunities through prospecting while working closely with the sales & marketing team for the direct accounts.
Strong direct retail account management, building business relationships with current and potential clients.
Growing business through the development of new pipeline leads and new contacts
Assist National Sales Managers in sales planning and expansion/ fine-tuning of existing network for the assigned areas.
Plan and support local marketing activities, identify strengths and weaknesses and propose improvement activities.
Maintain relationships with direct clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching, training, technical support and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
Handling queries and resolving client complaints from existing and new customers for the brand in network.
Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Support the team in other activities required.
Minimum 4 years of sales experience in the Automotive Lubricants industry is preferred, but applicants from other related industries will also be considered.
Self-driven, results oriented and ability to influence customers and people.
Good people skills with excellence in communication, presentation & interpersonal skills.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Windows and MS Offices
Good command of written/conversational English
Willing to travel extensively within Malaysia when required.
