About the role

The Area Manager role at 'CERGAS NOBLE SDN BHD' is a full-time position based in Kuching, Sarawak. You will be responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of multiple locations within a designated geographical area, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Multi-Outlet Operations Management

Oversee daily operations and store performance within your assigned outlets.

Monitor sales trends, labour cost, product mix, and operational KPIs to drive profitability.

Ensure outlet teams adhere to SOPs, promotional mechanics, and compliance standards (KKM, Halal, DOSH, Internal Audit).

Implement corrective action plans for underperforming outlets or audit failures.

Recruit, train, and coach Outlet Managers and Supervisors to achieve performance and service excellence.

Identify talent gaps and build succession planning within your area.

Motivate and guide outlet teams to uphold strong sales discipline, service quality, and operational excellence.

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide structured feedback.

In-Store Promotions & Execution

Ensure all promotional campaigns are well-executed with full team readiness.

Conduct frequent store visits to verify visual merchandising, campaign materials, and frontline awareness.

Troubleshoot promotional execution issues and provide improvement plans.

Product Quality & Service Standards

Conduct regular in-store audits using standardized checklists.

Identify issues related to food quality, service lapses, or hygiene concerns and follow up with immediate solutions.

Work closely with the Central Kitchen and training teams to resolve recurring quality complaints.

Communication & Reporting

Act as the communication bridge between Operations HQ and outlet teams.

Prepare weekly outlet performance summaries and action plans.

Escalate critical issues to Operations Management in a timely and solution-focused manner.

Strategy Support & Business Growth

Support expansion efforts (e.g. Bau, Kapit) through manpower planning, outlet pre-opening readiness, and staff onboarding.

Identify and execute opportunities to right-size staffing and improve product margin mix within outlets.

Ensure ground teams are aligned with Secret Recipe Sarawak’s strategic and tactical direction.

Others

Undertake any additional duties as assigned by Management.

JOB / SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 5 years’ Managerial experience in F&B / Restaurant Chain.

Candidate must possess at least Degree in any related field or equivalent.

Have good leadership skills and able to work independently/team.

Must possess own transport and willing to travel.

Incentive and commissions available upon confirmation.
