Job summary

Swan & Maclaren is seeking an architect in Malaysia to plan, design and develop projects from concept to completion. You will prepare drawings, documentation and submissions, and coordinate with clients, consultants and authorities to resolve issues.

The role requires 4 years on similar projects, strong CAD/3D skills (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite), and the ability to work independently or in a team while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Architecture with Part II qualification.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in architectural design and project coordination.
• Experience from design development through construction stages.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and other architectural software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, design and development of architectural projects from conceptual design to completion.
• Prepare and coordinate architectural drawings, design documentation and submission materials.
• Develop design concepts, presentations and technical details per project requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities and other stakeholders.
• Attend project meetings and help resolve design and technical issues.
• Ensure drawings comply with building regulations and authority requirements.
• Assist in construction-stage coordination and site visits.
• Support Project Architect/Team Leader to meet timeline and quality standards.
