Job summary

A leading global beverage company in Shah Alam is seeking a candidate for research project management. The role involves assisting in consumer research, analyzing data for valuable insights, and preparing market updates for stakeholders. Ideal candidates should hold a relevant degree with a strong CGPA, be fluent in English, and possess solid analytical skills. A passion for the beer industry is also sought after. This is a 6-month commitment position offering a hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

  • Minimum CGPA of 3.0 (Second Class Upper or equivalent).
  • Malaysian graduates not currently employed.
  • Able to commit for 6 months.

Job description

Support in research project management, detailed analysis and sharing of value-added insights leading to decision-making and business strategies for Carlsberg Malaysia.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in all aspects of qualitative and quantitative consumer research
  • Assist in various tracking studies (i.e., Nielsen, Brand Health Tracker); distilling insights to help shape brand, communications, and channel strategy
  • Assist in reviewing questionnaires and report deliverables
  • Assist to interpret and analyze research data (both primary & secondary) to provide value-added and actionable insights to key stakeholders
  • Support in managing external suppliers for consumer insights and research
  • Support in preparation & presentation of regular market updates to various stakeholders; assist in preparation of board file, commercial papers etc.
Requirements
  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or similar, min CGPA 3.0, Second Class Upper or equivalent
  • Malaysian graduates not in any employment
  • Able to commit for 6 months
  • Fluency in English
  • Computer literate with good knowledge in Microsoft Office
  • Good in quantitative and analytical skills
  • Pleasant personality and able to interact with all levels of employees
  • Positive attitude, detail oriented, hardworking, trustworthy, independent, mature and able to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Proven leadership skills in extra-curricular activities
  • Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Innovative and systematic with sound analytical skills
  • High work capacity, self-driven and a team-player
