Job summary

Marsh in Malaysia seeks an Application Support Specialist for the Finance Strategic Insights Group in Kuala Lumpur. The role supports financial applications used by Marsh FP&A, with responsibility for data governance hierarchies and access to Financial Systems. It is a hybrid role based on team arrangements.

You will join the Application Support Team, perform root cause analysis, monitor incidents, and deliver routine support activities while coordinating with Data Governance and FP&A colleagues.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with Oracle PL/SQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments.
• Proficient with JIRA, Git, GitHub and ServiceNow.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Experience in a support role is a strong plus.
• Ability to balance ad-hoc projects with daily tasks.
• Ability to collaborate with a global, diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Act as first line product support and perform root cause analysis for the Salary Planning Capture System (SPCS).
• Review and triage support items for Marsh FP&A applications.
• Monitor the Ticket Log and ensure incidents are addressed within SLA.
• Prepare monthly ticketing reporting and identify recurring issues.
• Deliver daily, monthly and quarterly support activities (data copies, month-end close, forecast close).
• Manage Data Governance requests and coordinate with Data Governance team.
• Work closely within a small team of product support analysts.
• Document technical knowledge for FP&A colleagues and training.
