Responsible for providing application support, training, and technical guidance for the clinical diagnostic products carried by Biomed Global to both external and internal stakeholders. The Application Specialist contributes to business activities through strong biomedical science knowledge, effective communication, and customer-focused service. This field-based position, based in Kuala Lumpur, includes conducting product demonstrations, assisting with installations and validations, preparing technical reports, and ensuring timely follow-up to maintain high customer satisfaction. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams, gathering customer feedback for improvement, and staying updated on relevant clinical and technical developments while supporting customers across Malaysia.
Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences or Medical Laboratory Technology (Master’s degree is an advantage) with CGPA > 3.0
Minimum 2 years of medical laboratory experience, with mandatory experience in transfusion or transplant (HLA) laboratory.
Experience in transplant/HLA laboratory is an added advantage.
Strong communication skills in both Malay and English (spoken and written).
Good interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer service.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, reporting, and presentation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Responsible, independent, well‑organized, and able to manage time effectively.
Proactive in learning technical knowledge related to instruments, reagents, software, and clinical diagnostic applications.
Must have own transport and be willing to travel within Malaysia (travel allowance provided).
Preferably Malaysian citizens.
