Application Engineer – Data Center Infrastructure

About the Role

We are seeking a technically skilled and customer-focused Application Engineer to join our client's Data Center Infrastructure team. This role is pivotal in supporting sales and project teams by designing and proposing tailored technical solutions for clients across various data center components.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the sales team to understand client requirements and propose appropriate Data Center infrastructure solutions.
• Provide detailed technical support and product recommendations during the pre‑sales process.
• Prepare technical documentation, system architecture diagrams, BOQ (Bill of Quantity), and proposals.
• Customize solutions involving UPS, PDU, Track Busway, Racks, Containment Systems, and cable management according to project requirements.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure compatibility and integration of offered products.
• Conduct customer presentations, product demos, and technical workshops.
• Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies related to data center infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data center or electrical infrastructure design.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Power systems (UPS, Busway, PDU)
• Cooling and containment solutions
• Rack and cable management
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Visio, or similar design tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
