Job summary

Altera is seeking an Application Engineer in Penang, Malaysia to join Worldwide Regional Applications. You will collaborate with R&D and customer teams to enable next‑gen designs across FPGA/ASIC families.

You will handle customer escalations, work with field teams and distributors to improve designs, and contribute to development projects and training materials. This role requires teamwork across sites and strong problem solving.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of RTL-based design flows.
• Good understanding of FPGA/ASIC design process and tools.
• Familiar with Quartus design methodologies.

## Application EngineerApply: Penang 15, Penang, Malaysia: Full time: Posted Today: R03379# **Job Details:**### ## **Job Description:**The Application Engineer position is in Worldwide Regional Applications group, located in Penang, Malaysia. As a member of Applications Engineering team, the successful candidate will work closely with several R&D teams, internal application design teams and key customers to enable the next generation of designs across the Agilex device families.
