About the Role

We\'re seeking an experienced Application Engineer to join our vibrant team in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. This full-time position offers hands-on involvement in the sales and technical support of our innovative products, helping clients in the Malaysian market achieve top-tier process safety through end-to-end solutions—from sensor technology to predictive maintenance. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver expert technical support and guidance to customers on the optimal application and use of our advanced gas detection and monitoring products.
• Perform on-site surveys, evaluations, occasional device calibration, diagnostic, and engaging product demonstrations to showcase how our solutions prevent hazards in high-stakes industries.
• Partner with our service and project teams to uncover customer needs and craft customized, innovative solutions that enhance safety and efficiency.
• Tackle technical challenges head-on, troubleshooting issues to ensure seamless operations and delighted clients.
• Lead interactive training sessions for customers on installation, operation, and maintenance, empowering them with the knowledge to maximize product performance.
• Keep ahead of the curve by tracking the latest advancements in product development, industry trends, and emerging technologies in gas detection and environmental monitoring.
• Contribute to creating compelling marketing and technical materials that highlight our commitment to quality and innovation.

What We\'re Looking For

• A Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, ideally in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in application engineering, technical sales, or a similar role—bonus if you\'ve worked in industrial safety or instrumentation.
• Sharp technical problem-solving and analytical skills to navigate complex scenarios.
• Outstanding communication and customer service abilities, with a talent for breaking down technical concepts for diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in CAD software, product specifications, and technical documentation to support solution design and implementation.
• A solid understanding of sales processes and a collaborative spirit to team up with sales professionals for winning outcomes.
• Fluency in English, with strong skills for engaging local and international clients effectively.
