Job summary

Sika is seeking a Management Trainee for the APAC Region based in Kuala Lumpur to join the Target Market Building Finishing team. The 18-month programme combines on-the-job training, formal learning, mentoring, and project assignments to develop technical, commercial, and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Construction Management, Marketing, Economics, or other relevant disciplines.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to two years of relevant working experience.
• Strong academic achievements and active involvement in extracurricular activities.
• Good analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, data analytics tools, programming languages, or other digital platforms will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel or undertake cross-functional assignments where required.

Responsibilities

• Complete all learning milestones and development activities throughout the programme.
• Participate actively in training programmes, workshops, coaching sessions, and other learning opportunities.
• Learn and apply company policies, business processes, systems, and best practices.
• Support departmental operations and contribute to assigned projects and business initiatives.
• Conduct research, analyse information, and prepare reports, presentations, or recommendations where appropriate.
• Collaborate with colleagues across different functions to support business objectives.
• Demonstrate initiative, accountability, professionalism, and a continuous learning mindset.
• Build strong working relationships with mentors, managers, and stakeholders.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and health, safety, quality, and compliance standards.
