Job summary

DHL Group in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced IT Internal Audit Manager to lead audits across regions. You will manage a team of auditors, ensure effective execution, and align with global IT controls standards.

The role requires a strong IT risk mindset, familiarity with COBIT and ITIL, and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly to executives. Travel up to 50% may be required; a bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years in audit or IT risk, plus leadership experience,

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years work experience in audit or managerial role in a large international business
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Excellent spoken English and strong written communication skills
• Proven ability to lead multicultural teams
• Ability to communicate technical matters clearly to non-specialists
• Strong understanding of IT operating environments from a control perspective
• Knowledge of IT standards and frameworks (COBIT, ITIL, ISO/IEC 27000)
• Strong project management and planning skills
• Willingness to travel up to 50% or more as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments with appropriate resourcing and solid conclusions
• Lead major audit assignments based on impact, complexity and risk
• Contribute to annual audit planning and resources
• Maintain engagement with regional contacts to improve the audit function
• Build relationships with DHL IT and business communities across units
• Support recruitment and onboarding of audit staff
• Document best practices in processes and governance
• Monitor quality standards of the audit team
• Collaborate with Asia Pacific audit team on joint assignments
• Lead the Audit Team with clear direction and training
