Job description

This role provides HR business partnering support to the APAC (Malaysia, China, South Korea, Japan, and Australia) region while managing regional rewards processes and overseeing compliance and quality in HR operations.

  • Partner with software and staff leaders across APAC to understand workforce needs and deliver tailored HR support
  • Support organizational design updates, workforce planning activities, and talent management processes
  • Provide first-line coaching and guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters
  • Use HR data and analytics to inform discussions and improve employee experience and performance
  • Support APAC salary review cycles, bonus programs, benefits administration, and global rewards projects
  • Ensure that compensation and benefits processes comply with local regulations and company policies
  • Track, process, and report compensation changes accurately and on time
  • Validate payroll and rewards-related data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company standards
  • Coordinate market benchmarking and maintain vendor relationships for benefits provision
  • Monitor HR operational activities for accuracy, timeliness, and policy adherence
  • Provide second-line support for escalated HR operational issues outside standard transactions
  • Lead communication and rollout of HR policy, process, and system changes
  • Conduct periodic audits of HR system data (Workday) and ensure SOX and labor law compliance
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding experiences across APAC and recommend improvements
  • Support engagement, inclusion, well-being, and team culture initiatives
  • Promote workplace wellbeing and support HSE-aligned practices
Your profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field; master’s degree preferred
  • At least 5 years of HR operations or HR business partner experience, ideally supporting multiple APAC countries
  • Understanding of APAC labor laws, compliance frameworks, and SOX requirements
  • Experience with HR systems such as Workday, and familiarity with payroll or compensation systems
  • Able to validate payroll and C&B data, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and provide meaningful insights
  • Solid understanding of compensation and benefits processes, including salary reviews and bonus cycles
  • Strong communication and coaching capabilities, especially with managers and stakeholders
  • Close attention to detail, commitment to data accuracy, confidentiality, and quality standards
  • Able to lead HR process improvements, support change initiatives, and collaborate across regions
