Job description

Insurance Operations is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the company’s insurance solutions. They provide administrative and technical support to client-facing brokers and provide support to clients by responding to insurance transaction queries. As an entry-level individual contributor, an Insurance Operations Analyst is ready to apply the knowledge acquired via an advanced education and to start to develop professional skills with the help of a manager and more experienced team members.

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am‑5:30pm / 9am‑6pm

Pay: RM4,000‑RM6,000

Education: Diploma / Degree in Insurance, Finance, Accounting or Business Administration. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with report preparation initiatives for various internal colleagues and data entry and oversight for internal databases and reference areas.
  • Work to contribute to the achievement of Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and business objectives.
  • Support team members by ensuring the timely and accurate production and tracking of invoices and pricing estimates and ensuing documentation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to field basic transactional or operational requests and gain insight regarding the reception of existing processes and transactional channels.
  • Provide support for risk management identification processes and procedures.
  • Support senior level colleagues with special projects or initiatives by assisting with delivering changes and reporting on related performance.
  • Handle basic procedural or operations related insurance claims inquiries to maximize product and function value.
  • Ensure quality delivery of services and full compliance with quality and operational standards.
  • Possess a basic understanding of the insurance business and the regulatory environment and the related procedural requirements for brokers and other key insurance agreement players.
