Job description

Overview

You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative ESG and sustainability solutions and services, support strategic initiatives, apply analytical insights, and take part in executing assessments. In this role, you’ll also engage directly with clients, helping to deliver impactful and value-driven sustainability offerings. This will include:

Responsibilities

• Develop new methodologies, products, and solutions to clients.
• Monitor and draw upon best practices in developing credit methodologies / solutions.
• Design and apply most suitable solution for clients, meeting regulatory requirements, incorporating forward looking elements, and future proofing solutions provided where possible.
• Provide support on methodology application, interpretation and deviations.
• Engagement with relevant external parties to ensure completion of projects, expansion of products and solutions.
• Production of reports meeting various stakeholders’ requirements.
• Collaborate to expand usability and sources of data and CreditMapper.
• Collaborate with respective owners to improve internal policies, processes, system design, data analytics, and overall risk management.
• Collaborate internally, provide credit input in designing new rating and reviews of methodology, scorecards, back-testing, and validation activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management, Engineering, or Sustainability. We also welcome candidates from other academic backgrounds who have relevant ESG experience.
• Knowledge of ESG concepts and a background in corporate analysis would be an added advantage.
• Possess strong analytical, strategic, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and ease in working with others.
