About You

You will report to the Senior Manager, Category Management and play a key role in driving both the demand and supply side performance of the Carsome Certified business. This role requires a blend of analytical thinking and commercial acumen, where you will analyse, design, and recommend strategies to improve pricing competitiveness, inventory health, and sales performance. You are expected to be hands‑on with data, proactive in problem‑solving, and comfortable working across teams to translate insights into action plans that drive business results.

Your Day-to-Day
  • Analyse sales performance and market trends to generate actionable insights for pricing, campaign, and product strategies.
  • Monitor price competitiveness versus market benchmarks and support the development of pricing frameworks.
  • Evaluate campaign effectiveness and provide post‑mortem insights to improve future performance.
  • Monitor inventory levels, stock days, and aging trends to ensure optimal balance between supply and demand.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, and Refurbishment teams to improve end‑to‑end category readiness.
  • Build and enhance data models, dashboards, and frameworks to track key metrics (sales velocity, margin, inventory health).
  • Champion data integrity and establish a single source of truth for category performance reporting.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and propose process or system enhancements to improve category management productivity.
  • Support key category projects or initiatives (e.g., pricing automation, supply‑demand balance model, inventory clearance framework).
Your Know-How
  • 2 years of working experience in commercial or business analysis
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required with specialization in business, economics, mathematics and engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, strong business acumen
  • Proficiency with Excel and Gsheet is a must. Having the knowledge in SQL, Tableau, Power BI will be plus point
  • Self‑starter, ability to work both independently and cross‑functionally to achieve goals
  • Ability to thrive in a multi‑tasked and to prioritize workload and tight deadlines
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with an innovative approach to business planning
