Job summary

A leading global gases provider in Selangor is seeking an Analyst for Accounts Receivable. You will handle cash applications, manage customer accounts, and support month-end closing activities. Candidates should have at least a degree in Accounting or Finance, be fluent in English and Japanese, and possess excellent analytical and communication skills. A strong work ethic and technical proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office are highly desirable. Fresh graduates are welcome!

Contribute and Grow
  • Cash Application and Management:
  • Formulating a projected cash receipt forecast based on the expected volume of daily accounts receivable.
  • Maintaining cash application templates.
  • Assessing the adequacy and accuracy of the netting mechanism.
  • Managing the shared mailbox and remittance advice received from customers.
  • Reconciliation of customer accounts and working with stakeholders and the collections team to resolve unapplied and unidentified transactions.
  • Preparing journal entries for accounts receivable, such as refunds and adjustments.
  • Co‑operating with the Accounts Payable team to perform monthly contra entries.
  • Reporting, Month‑End Closing, and Project Involvement:
  • Preparing and analysing reports relevant to cash application.
  • Actively participating in driving C‑IMP projects such as AI advancement.
  • Providing support for month‑end closing activities, such as updating the unapplied receipt report.
Are you a MATCH?
  • Experience: Prior experience of 1‑2 years in audit, commercial accounting, or shared services accounting is preferred. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Education: A degree in Accounting/Finance or an equivalent qualification.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in both written and spoken English and Japanese. Ideally, candidates will hold a JLPT N1/N2 certification or have prior experience studying or living in Japan.
  • Skills: Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Work Ethic: A team player who takes initiative and ownership of responsibilities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office is highly desirable.
