Job summary

AIA Shared Services in Malaysia is seeking an AML screening professional to process all outsourced compliance checks within the agreed SLA and SOP. The role includes supporting the AML framework and coordinating with the Hong Kong team to ensure timely responses and risk controls.

You will contribute to maintaining regulatory compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with colleagues to uphold the company’s standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Experience in group or life insurance operations is advantageous.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated and customer-focused.
• Team player with good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process all AML screening outsourced to the department per the SLA and SOP.
• Assist in implementing an effective AML framework to ensure compliance with AML regulations and group policies.
• Carry out screening and review activities to reduce regulatory, reputational, legal and financial risk.
• Liaise with the Hong Kong team to promptly respond to requests and queries.
• Oversee OSS office operations and ensure coordination within the team.
• Escalate issues to management as appropriate and ensure tasks meet SLA and quality standards.
