Job summary

Tune Protect Group is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to guide the data platform, oversee ETL pipelines, data warehouse operations, and data quality initiatives to support reporting, analytics, and business decisions.

You will collaborate with BI, Architecture, Infrastructure and Applications teams; mentor data engineers; manage vendors and deliver data projects, including cloud migration and modernization to power future analytics and AI use cases.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Job Brief

Lead the Data Engineering team in building, maintaining, and enhancing the organization's data platform to support reporting, analytics, and business decision-making. Responsible for managing data integration, ETL pipelines, data warehouse operations, and data quality initiatives while ensuring reliable and efficient data delivery. The role works closely with business and technology teams to support data-driven initiatives and help strengthen the organization's data capabilities for future analytics and AI use cases.analytics and future AI initiatives.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead Enterprise Data Warehouse and data platform development.
  • Design and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using SSIS and Apache Airflow.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Min 7 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehouse, ETL Development, or a related role.
  • Experience working with SQL Server, ETL processes, and data integration tools such as SSIS or Apache Airflow.
  • Good understanding of data warehousing and data modelling concepts.
  • Strong SQL and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting reporting and analytics platforms.
  • Exposure to cloud data technologies (e.g., Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake) is an advantage.
  • Experience leading projects, mentoring team members, or coordinating a small team is preferred.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with business and technology teams.
Nice to Have
  • Knowledge of Python or data automation tools.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, or Snowflake.
  • Experience in the financial services or regulated industry.
