Job summary

VaynerMedia in Malaysia is seeking a skilled video editor to join our APAC team. You will craft content across platforms, balancing creative storytelling with data-driven performance, and collaborate with editors, designers, and strategists to turn concepts into scalable assets.

You should be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop, with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in advertising or digital media.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional creative experience in social/content environments.
• Proven experience as a video editor in advertising or digital media.
• Excellent proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop).

Responsibilities

• Create content that makes impactful connections with consumers across platforms.
• Serve as an algorithm-fluent editor with hooks, pacing, and retention expertise.
• Take accountability for performance tuning and platform success; optimize creative outputs.
• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished final videos for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.
• Stay up to date with platform algorithms and emerging formats to keep content fresh and competitive.
• Contribute ideas during ideation sessions and collaborate with cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.
• Attend brainstorms and meetings, contributing meaningful ideas and helping shape strategy.
• Mentor creators and potentially art directors/copywriters under leadership guidance.
