Job summary

Arvato Systems Malaysia invites interns for a Software Quality Assurance track. You will contribute to testing efforts across IT projects, validate requirements, and perform both manual and automated testing while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile setup.

The program emphasizes AI tools, learning journeys, mentorship, and hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment at our Kuala Lumpur site.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in final semester of Diploma/ Degree/ Master in CS/CE/IT/IS or related technical discipline.
• Strong English communication and teamwork mindset.
• Willingness to learn and contribute in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Work on IT projects with testing services exposure in media domain.
• Review and validate requirements and specifications.
• Develop and execute test plans and detailed test cases.
• Document results and suggest improvements after analysis.
• Collaborate with development for bug verification and regression testing.
• Communicate professionally across teams and stakeholders.
• Support both manual testing and test automation as needed.
• Learn and apply GenAI/Agentic AI in testing tasks.

Job Description

• Work in interesting IT projects mainly in media department with exposure to various platforms with efficient testing services
• Reviews and validates requirements and functional specifications.
• Develops and executes test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements and/or customer feedback and prioritization.
• Documents results, offer observations or improvements after analysis of test results and overall product quality.
• Collaborates with the development team on bug fix verification and validation (regression testing)
• Communicates professionally at all levels within and outside of the organization.
• Delivers testing efforts across project and tasks under tight deadlines efficiently.
• Adhere to Agile methodologies incorporated in the team.
• Exposure to AI tools and efficient usage of the same in implementing test services
• Strongly integrate with cross teams and be flexible to participate in both Manual as well as Test Automation based on project requirements.
• Must: Thorough working knowledge of software testing methodologies and the testing life cycle
• Must: Experience with web services (REST, SOAP, Postman). Confident with JSON & XML structures
• Must: Experience with databases (relational and NoSQL), Create simple queries
• Must: Strong know how on, Traceability Matrix and right mapping of business requirements into test scenarios
• Must: Know how on Test process and Test designing
• Must: Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing Agile Environment
• Must: Knowledge and practical experience with one or more test automation tools (e.g. Robot Framework, Micro Focus UFT etc.)
• Must: Basic knowledge with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub workflows, Azure DevOps)
• Must: Excellent Communication Skills, Identifies, communicates, and escalates issues as required
• Must: A team player and self-starter who will work side by side with the development team
• Good to have: Knowledge in Azure devops and other test management tools
• Good To have: JAVA basic knowledge: Confident in aspects of OOP
• Good To have: Efficient application of GenAI and Agentic AI in day to day work
• Good to have: ISTQB certificate(s)Good to have: Practical experience in API and UI automation
• Learn about the technology and how it works.
• Understand and contribute towards the assigned project/ areas of learning.
• Be involved in the technical implementation of the assigned project/ areas of learning.
• Complete assigned deliverables within agreed timelines and quality expectations.

Qualifications

What Must You Have:

• Be an Undergraduate or Postgraduate who is in the final semester of your current Diploma/ Degree/ Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• A minimum of CGPA 3.2 and above.
• An excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• A strong team collaborative spirit with a growth mindset.
