Job summary

FWD TIM in Kuala Lumpur is hiring an AI Ops Engineer to advance enterprise data and AI initiatives. You will collaborate with the Group Data team to design, build, and operate AI/ML and Generative AI solutions across the Group and local entities.

You will drive cloud standardization, implement MLOps pipelines, ensure governance and regulatory compliance, and mentor teammates while promoting engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering.
• 5+ years in Data Engineering, MLOps, AI or related fields.
• Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Proficient in Python, Spark, and software engineering best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLM-based and Agentic AI applications.
• Familiarity with metadata management and AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and modern data platforms.
• Experience with MLOps and DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, model monitoring, and infrastructure automation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Data Architects, Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Platform teams to design scalable data and AI solutions.
• Partner with stakeholders to design and implement Generative AI and Agentic AI applications driving business value.
• Operationalize AI/ML models and integrate them into production environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain MLOps pipelines for training, validation, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Provide production support for AI applications, models, and data pipelines.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and procedures.
• Mentor team members and promote best practices, innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
