Job summary

Ryt Bank is seeking experienced security professionals to join its Cyber Security team in Malaysia. The role focuses on independent penetration testing, AI red-team work, and coordinating remediation across banking systems.

You’ll execute vulnerability assessments, lead red-team exercises, and manage external pentest vendors while collaborating with the CISO organisation to reduce risk in an AI-powered digital bank environment.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years in penetration testing, red teaming, or offensive security roles with independent delivery.
• Proven experience scoping, leading, and reporting on mobile, web, API, network, and cloud tests.
• Hands-on testing across mobile, API and web applications.
• Deep familiarity with AI penetration testing tools and LLM/RAG architectures is a strong differentiator.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute quarterly vulnerability assessments across the bank’s infrastructure, apps, and API surface.
• Coordinate annual intelligence-led penetration testing including internal and external surfaces.
• Lead triennial red-team simulations and develop attacker-focused skills.
• Produce security findings reports and coordinate remediation with the Lead, Security Engineering.
