STARTRADER in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking a Video Editor (AI & Motion) to transform ideas into compelling visual content. You will work with creative, marketing, and product teams to deliver high-impact videos for ads, social media, educational content, and brand storytelling.

Based on the role, you will edit short-form videos for major platforms, apply AI tools to streamline production, and contribute to developing the brand's visual identity.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in short-form video editing; portfolio on Douyin, Bilibili or Xiaohongshu preferred.
• Proficient with Premiere Pro and After Effects; Final Cut Pro and 3D tools a plus.
• Experience using AI tools for speech generation, captions, and background removal.

Responsibilities

• Edit and produce short-form videos for platforms like Douyin, Kuaishou, Xiaohongshu and Bilibili.
• Stay current with platform trends; creatively apply viral topics to boost engagement.
• Independently create basic 3D visuals such as title animations and motion graphics.
• Develop and refine IP-related video visual identity; collaborate with social media and HQ design teams.
• Assemble footage, synchronize audio, color-correct, and enhance quality.
• Create motion graphics, transitions, overlays, and animated text as needed.
• Optimize videos for various formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios.
• Adapt content for different audiences and markets; manage multiple projects to tight deadlines.
