Job summary

Etiqa Insurance and Takaful is seeking an Machine Learning/AI Specialist to design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions that transform data into actionable insights for business and operational stakeholders. The role works with cross-functional teams to identify high-impact use cases and ensure solutions are practical, explainable, and deployable.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in AI/ML/Data Science and at least 3 years of hands-on AI/ML experience, with strong API

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in AI/ML/CS/Data Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on AI/ML solution development experience.
• Experience integrating AI/ML solutions into enterprise applications via APIs.
• Strong data analytics skills: prep, analysis, and deriving insights from structured and unstructured data.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy ML, Computer Vision, and GenAI solutions to address business challenges and improve operational efficiency.
• Build, optimize, and evaluate AI/ML models including CV and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions for accuracy, scalability and business value.
• Translate business requirements and complex datasets into scalable AI solutions and use cases that improve customer experience and automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy AI models in production via APIs and deployment pipelines.
• Monitor and continuously improve AI solutions for performance, reliability, and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML solution development, including the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML models.
• Experience in application integration using APIs and integrating AI/ML solutions into enterprise applications or production environments.
• Strong knowledge of data analytics, including data preparation, analysis, and deriving insights from structured and unstructured data.
