Job summary

StashAway is seeking an AI-augmented Analytics & BI Lead to own and grow the BI team in a hybrid setup. You will manage the backlog, partner with senior stakeholders, and shape an AI-native analytics strategy, including reusable AI assets and governance around AI-generated analyses.

You will mentor analysts, raise the team’s impact, and drive adoption of self-serve analytics while ensuring high standards of rigour and trust across data, metrics, and semantics.

Qualifications

• You have directly managed analysts or data professionals as their people manager, owning their performance, growth, and delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to drive team outcomes: owning a backlog, setting priorities, and delivering on commitments to stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder leadership: partnering with senior business and executive stakeholders, managing expectations, and navigating conflicting priorities.
• Demonstrated AI-native leadership: you have built repeatable, reusable AI assets that a team adopted and driven measurable output from AI.
• Enough hands-on SQL and data-modelling depth to set standards, review work, and lead contested modelling decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead BI team delivery, backlog, and outcomes; translate business needs into prioritised work.
• Mentor and develop team members, with clear career paths from junior analysts to senior ICs.
• Set quality bar for SQL, metrics, models, and analyses; maintain a single source of truth with lineage and governance.
• Increase team autonomy for day-to-day delivery, escalating only strategic calls.
• Define high-value analyses and integrate self-serve tools within BI scope.
