About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join SUNIA SDN BHD as an AI Data Project Manager. In this full‑time role based in Kuala Lumpur Sentral, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of crucial AI data projects that are central to the company's strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

Overseeing the end‑to‑end execution of AI data projects, including planning, implementing, and monitoring project activities.

Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop detailed project plans.

Providing regular progress updates and reporting to key stakeholders.

Identifying and mitigating risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful project delivery.

Optimising project processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Mentoring and supporting junior members of the project team.

What we're looking for

Significant experience (5+ years) in project management, preferably in the field of AI and data‑driven initiatives.

Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects, from planning to implementation.

Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop detailed project plans, manage budgets, and track milestones.

Strong understanding of AI and data management technologies, methodologies, and best practices.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with technical and non‑technical teams.

Proficient in the use of project management tools and software.

Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
