About the Role

The AI Data Analyst at Brooks is responsible for interpreting and managing data to influence the company's artificial intelligence solutions by extracting data from various sources, interpreting patterns, and analyzing results using statistical techniques. This newly created global-first AI Data Analyst role at Brooks is responsible for supporting the development and evaluation of AI-driven solutions through data analysis, insight generation, and model performance monitoring. As the first hire in this space, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the function, influencing future capabilities, and contributing to the strategic direction of AI initiatives across the organization.

Reporting to the Data Analytics Manager based in the US, you will contribute to the development and deployment of machine learning models and AI applications at Brooks, working with large datasets, applying statistical techniques, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to inform model development and business strategies.

Work Location

Onsite - Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Collection and Interpretation: Collect, interpret, and analyze large volumes of data from internal/external data sources.
  • Algorithm and Model Development: Develop algorithms and models to improve and streamline operations.
  • Data Quality and Integrity: Ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the AI team to design machine learning models.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Create data-driven insights and visualizations for the team.
  • Communication: Communicate results and ideas to key decision-makers.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience of 3-5 years in AI and machine learning, CoPilot experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL), basic understanding of enterprise data-warehouse, familiarity with cloud data platforms.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to convey complex data insights.
