Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking motivated AI, backend, or software engineer interns to build real-world software and AI solutions. You will collaborate with our development team on backend services, APIs, AI/LLM applications, automation, and system integration.

You will gain hands-on experience with modern frameworks and cloud tools, participate in code reviews, and contribute to testing, documentation, deployment, and maintenance of applications.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining backend applications and microservices

Develop and integrate REST APIs

Work with Python-based applications and services

Assist with AI/LLM integration, including AI agents, document processing, OCR, and automation workflows

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code

Debug and troubleshoot application issues

Work with databases and structured/unstructured data

About you

Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or another related field

Basic programming knowledge in Python or another backend programming language

Basic understanding of REST APIs, Databases, Git/version control, and Object-oriented programming and software-development fundamentals

Able to understand existing code and troubleshoot problems

Comfortable learning new technologies independently

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Able to communicate and work effectively within a development team

Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask is an advantage

Experience with Docker, GitLab / CI/CD, SQL or NoSQL databases, Linux, LLMs and Generative AI, AI agents, OpenAI or other LLM APIs, OCR / document processing, Machine learning, API integration, Microservices, Message queues such as Kafka, Cloud or server deployment, or Automated testing using pytest or similar tools is an advantage
