A global aerospace company is seeking a Supplier Development Manager to enhance aftermarket suppliers’ performance in Asia Pacific. The role involves leading supplier audits, coordinating assessments, and ensuring compliance with quality standards for strategic suppliers. The ideal candidate has over 8 years of experience in relevant industries and possesses strong leadership and communication skills. This permanent position is based in Selangor, Malaysia, within the Supplier Management job family.
The Supplier Development Manager is responsible to execute missions for Airbus Customer Services supply chain and quality teams, providing the proximity, reactivity, presence and industrial expertise needed to drive development of Aftermarket suppliers in Asia Pacific.
Accountable to execute missions & projects with the objective of improving aftermarket suppliers’ performances on Quality, Cost & Deliveries for all Airbus Customer Services activities (Fleet efficiency, Upgrade/Aircraft Lifecycle, FHS, SATAIR…).
Represent Aftermarket Suppliers Quality & Supply-Chain teams in the region. The responsibilities include support to the Suppliers Quality responsible (QR) and SCQM, organization & driving of regular performance reviews, monitoring of suppliers action plans (resulting from bad performances, non-conformities, Assessments…). Ensure that suppliers adhere to quality management systems and Airbus requirements. Act as quality responsible for a portfolio of strategic suppliers.
