Installation & Commissioning: Execute on-site installation, calibration, and fine-tuning of advanced semiconductor equipment to ensure optimal performance and meet all specifications.
Troubleshooting & Repair: Perform rapid and accurate diagnosis and resolution of complex mechanical, electrical, and software issues to minimize customer downtime.
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
Customer Support & Training: Provide exceptional on-site and remote technical support, and offer basic operational guidance to customer personnel.
Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and submit detailed service reports, maintenance logs, and weekly updates to ensure clear communication and record-keeping.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a critical technical liaison between customers, the sales team, and the internal design/engineering team to feedback product performance information and drive improvements.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients through professional communication and a commitment to superior service.
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer, preferably in the semiconductor or precision equipment industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
Ability to work independently, manage schedules, and respond promptly to service requests.
Willingness to travel extensively within Malaysia.
