Job summary

Intrepid Asia in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Content Intern to support Intrepid's Affiliate function in identifying what makes affiliate content perform, and in helping creators produce content that's aligned with brand and campaign needs. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, curious about content trends, and comfortable working with data and creative materials side by side.

Qualifications

• Minimum internship commitment of 3 months.
• Able to work full-time, Monday-Friday.
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets (basic formulas, sorting/filtering) and Google Slides/PowerPoint.
• Fluent in English (written); Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin a plus for creator communication.
• Strong attention to detail — comfortable working with spreadsheets and organizing data.
• Good written communication skills; able to distill information clearly.
• Interest in social media, content trends, and the creator/affiliate space.
• Proactive and organized; able to manage recurring tagging and brief cycles independently.
• Prior exposure to beauty, FMCG, or affiliate/influencer marketing is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Content Tagging, Analysis & Insights
• Tag and categorize affiliate content by format, hook type, creative angle, and other performance-relevant attributes
• Track and organize performance data for tagged content across campaigns
• Identify top-performing content pieces and flag emerging patterns (hooks, formats, storytelling angles) that correlate with strong performance
• Compile findings into simple, clear insight summaries for the wider team
• Content Brief Preparation & Sharing
• Review client-provided product materials, USPs, and training decks to extract key selling points and campaign messaging
• Draft first-pass content briefs for Affiliate Creators based on these materials, following established brief templates and formats
• Share finalized briefs with the Affiliate managers and relevant creator groups
• Keep brief templates and reference materials up to date as new product information comes in
