Job summary

A staffing agency is seeking an experienced administrative assistant in Bayan Lepas, Penang. Candidates should have at least 1 year experience in administration, excellent communication skills in English, and proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Responsibilities include managing calls and emails, scheduling appointments, and supporting the Senior Manager and direct reports. Ideal candidates are independent, positive, and quick learners, ready to handle various tasks in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative duties, handling incoming calls, emails, and correspondence.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and travel itineraries.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and draft email invitations.
  • Process computer data and generate reports.
  • Assist in organizing team building activities and arranging lunches.
  • Manage office supplies and departmental activities.
  • Support the team with additional administrative tasks.
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reports for management.

Classification into this job family requires the incumbent to report to a manager at the Senior Manager level or above, and to be performing the duties associated with this job family and the designated level
