KEY ROLES :

  • Manage the full accounts payable cycle and prepare management reports periodically and on an ad hoc basis.
  • Assist the Head of Unit (HOU) in preparing the annual operational budget, including distribution and monitoring of the approved budget.
  • Perform budget virements as required.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and conduct bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare audit schedules for quarterly and year-end audits.
  • Process payments to vendors, staff, and students.
  • Handle monthly recoupment transactions and reimbursements.
  • Complete monthly closing activities accurately and on time.
  • Monitor staff advances and ensure timely settlement.
  • Liaise with suppliers, staff, and other stakeholders regarding payments and related matters.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience (for degree holders).
  • Minimum of 3 years of working experience (for diploma holders).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize to meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Malay and English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a mature and professional demeanor.
  • Capable of communicating effectively and handling challenging individuals or students.
  • Able to build and maintain positive working relationships within the team.
  • Demonstrates a professional attitude with a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure with maturity and reliability.
