Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of administrative experience, preferably in a higher education environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and university management systems.
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced academic setting.
- Excellent command of English; proficiency in Mandarin or Malay is an advantage.
Responsibilities
1. Academic and Administrative Support
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of academic programmes (undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD).
- Manage documentation and communication related to teaching schedules, course files, and examination matters.
- Maintain accurate records of academic performance, research outputs, and staff training programmes.
- Support accreditation exercises, programme reviews, and quality assurance documentation.
2. Staff and Student Liaison
- Serve as a liaison between academic staff, students, and the university’s administrative offices.
- Provide guidance and administrative assistance to students regarding academic procedures, internship placements, and other school matters.
- Assist in onboarding new academic staff and facilitating internal communication.
3. Event and Project Coordination
- Support academic and cultural events such as seminars, workshops, conferences, and student engagement activities.
- Provide administrative support for school-led initiatives.
- Coordinate logistics, publicity materials, and documentation for events and school projects.
4. Resource Management
- Oversee inventory and office supply management.
- Ensure compliance with university financial and administrative policies.
