Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a capable HR and Administration professional to manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to offboarding, and to coordinate payroll and HR compliance efforts. You will oversee attendance, leave, medical claims, and documentation while supporting performance reviews and training initiatives.

The role requires solid English communication, a relevant degree, and 4–6 years of HR/administration experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in HR or related field.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in HR and Administration.
  • Experience handling payroll is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and offboarding.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and offer preparation.
  • Administer employee attendance, leave, medical claims, and other HR-related records.
  • Coordinate payroll preparation by verifying attendance, overtime, allowances, deductions, and employee information.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable labour laws and regulations.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and employment matters.
  • Support performance management processes, including probation reviews and annual appraisals.
  • Coordinate employee training and development programs.
  • Organize employee engagement activities, company events, and internal communications.
  • Prepare HR reports, workforce statistics, and management reports as required.
  • Assist in developing and updating HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.

  • Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and office security requirements.

  • Maintain confidential employee and company records.

  • Assist during internal and external audits related to HR and administration.

  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
