Job summary

Monash University Malaysia seeks an Assistant Lecturer to contribute to the delivery of the Bachelor in Actuarial Analytics programme within the School of Business. The role involves teaching, coordinating, and administering undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive education units in Actuarial Science and related subjects.

The appointee will develop and deliver high-quality teaching, supervise student projects where appropriate, and engage in curriculum development and quality assurance

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will primarily contribute to the delivery of the Bachelor in Actuarial Analytics programme, offered by the School of Business through the Department of Econometrics and Business Statistics.
• The academic will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences, supervising student projects where appropriate, and contributing to curriculum development and quality assurance activities.

Responsibilities

• Teaching, coordinating, and administering undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive education units in Actuarial Science and related disciplines.
• Undertake scholarly research and professional engagement activities that enhance the School's research profile and support the advancement of actuarial science, statistics, and mathematics disciplines.
