Job description

Exsim Hospitality Berhad is seeking an experienced Accounts & Finance Manager to join their team in Kuala Lumpur.

What you'll be doing

Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger activities, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing.

Responsible for ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient financial processes that support daily operations and business growth.

Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports, ensuring accurate recording of room revenue, OTA commissions, deposits, refunds, and ancillary charges.

Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.

Monitor and reconcile statements from major OTAs, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely revenue recognition.

Manage and mentor the accounting team to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.

Collaborate with various departments to provide financial support and advice.

Implement and maintain effective internal controls and financial policies.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

At least 5 years of experience in a similar Accounts & Finance Manager role, preferably within the hospitality industry.

Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, proactive.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders.

Possess good analytical skills, meticulous, multi-tasking, positive working attitude, committed, good interpersonal skills and follow-up skills.

Able to work independently under minimal supervision and able to meet tight deadlines.
