A financial services company in Malacca City is seeking an experienced accounting professional. The role involves managing full sets of accounts, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting and audits. Candidates should have at least a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting and 2-3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software is essential, along with strong communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin. This position requires multitasking abilities and independent work capacity.
Handle full sets of accounts including on AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation and adhoc.
Prepare monthly financial reports, schedules, and analysis.
Monitor cash flow, aging reports, and follow up with customers on outstanding payments.
Verify supplier invoices, process payments, and ensure timely settlement.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
Coordinate yearly audit, tax submission, and statutory reporting.
Review and ensure accuracy of accounting entries and compliance with company policies.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, suppliers, and internal departments.
Prepare & maintain fixed assets register, monthly depreciation computation & journal entries input.
Lead and support junior accounting staff when required.
Any other accounting duties assigned by the management from time to time.
