Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Account Executive to manage the company’s accounting and financial operations. You will handle the full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations, and prepare essential reports to support management decisions.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, independence, and strong communication skills. You will liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and the company secretary, while ensuring compliance and timely e-invoicing.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance.
• Able to handle full set of accounts independently.
• Proficient in accounting software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and good time management skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation and month-end closing.
• Prepare management reports, such as P&L and cash flow statements.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documents accurately and on time.
• Monitor daily accounting operations and maintain proper records and filing.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and company secretary on accounting matters.
• Assist in audit and tax matters, including preparation of documents.
• Submission of e-invoice on timely basis.
• Monitor company cash flow, payments, collections, and outstanding balances.
• Handle invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation of accounts.
• Assist management with financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
• Handle general administrative duties and ad-hoc assignments.
