Job description

The Accounts Executive, Finance is responsible for assisting in the daily accounting operations of the organization, including managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the finance team in various accounting tasks. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and a basic understanding of accounting principles. The Accounts Executive will work closely with senior staff to ensure the smooth operation of the finance department and contribute to timely and accurate financial reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare and process journal entries, invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts monthly.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions.
  • Support the Finance Manager with budget tracking and financial analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and other stakeholders when necessary.
  • Handle staff claims and petty cash reimbursements.
  • Maintain and update accounting records and files.
  • Assist with ad-hoc finance or administrative tasks as assigned.
REQUIREMENT
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in a related role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SQL, SAP, QuickBooks).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
